COLORADO - Boulder

August 19 & 20 Sunday and Monday  Spent Sunday doing laundry and cleaning...so no pictures!  But, on Monday we headed to Boulder to visit Gary's cousin Bill Frisbie and his wife Leslie.  We went out to dinner and they showed us around downtown Boulder.  It is a very beautiful city!   Thanks so much Bill & Leslie  - it was great to see you!

COLORADO - Denver

August 18 Saturday Took a drive to Denver today.   Had to visit Denver Broncos Mile High Stadium as this was Jon's favorite football team.

Such beautiful red rocks!
A few miles down the road is the Red Rock Amphitheater...very beautiful outdoor theater built into the red rocks of the area.  This venue has hosted many, very famous bands and performers throughout the years.   The Beatles did a concert here in 1964.
Unfortunately, a sold out concert was scheduled for the day we visited so we could not actually go into the the theater.

COLORADO - FT. Collins
August 17 Friday

Had to chuckle when we saw this sign...Colorado was colorful in some places, but it was very brown and plain by this welcoming sign!
