WYOMING - Cody

August 13 Monday Visited the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody.   What a place! Five museums in this complex!   The Buffalo Bill Museum, a Firearms Museum, a Plains Indian Museum, Yellowstone Museum, and a Plains Art Museum!  Luckily the ticket that we purchased was good for two days.   It would be impossible to see everything in one day.

Gary even found an Ithaca Gun in the museum that he worked on while he was at Ithaca Gun in the 1970's.  He set up the manufacturing  process for the barrel of this gun.

In the Art Museum, we saw this beautiful painting which shows Heart Mountain in the background.  Heart Mountain was the location of a Japanese Interment Camp during WWII.  Last year it was opened as a museum and we visited it. (pictures to follow in a later blog).
