| Just had to try the famous muffuletta sandwich...it is about a 12 inch round bread filled with three meats, two cheeses and olive salad..1/2 of a sandwich was plenty for the two of us. We thought it was delicious. New Orleans is known for this sandwich. |

| This is Central Grocery, home of the original muffuletta and where we had ours. Luckily we got it on a less busy day...the other days we went by the line was halfway down the block on Decatur St.! |

| Took a 2 hour drive to Avery Island, home of McILHenny Tabasco Company. The only factory in the world where it is made. It is shipped to 160 different countries. |

| Another interesting fact about Avery Island...first ever salt mine in the US. The salt is used in the aging process of the tabasco sauce. |
