NEW ORLEANS JANUARY 17-18, 2014

We are finally all here!   Craig, Laurie, Mary, Bill, Liz & Gary!  Ready to start the day!

Siblings enjoying beignets & coffee!!

At the French Market..a vendor writes Brooklyn's name on a grain of rice...this little grain of rice will be incorporated into a surprise for you Brooklyn.

Nice view of Jackson Square on Decatur St...St. Louis Cathedral in the background.

Taking a jazz cruise on the Natchez steamship...there is a calliope on top and if you look closely you can see the calliope player up there.

Getting into the Mardi Gras mood!

The guys even took a turn after we persuaded them!

The obelisk in the background marks the sight of the Battle of New Orleans..War of 1815.

The jazz band on the cruise.

Bourbon St. at night
